In Alpha last week we had an interesting question from a guest and we are curious to see what others think about this. Since God created all the planets, Why earth? Why did God choose earth to banish the devil into, though he knew he already choose earth for humans to live in? What happened to Jupiter or Mars? Why Earth?

Interesting question......I have no comments but I am curious to see what others think....why on earth
ReplyDelete"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". The earth simply was the central point/ the reference point for the seen or physical world which included everything visible to the eyes ( such as the galaxies, planets, stars in the heavens) God had just created. In this new visible physical creation of his, he chose one point (earth) which could have been anywhere else, to create the prototype of what he wanted man to tend and recreate across the entire physical creation (including other planets).
ReplyDeleteSatan was banished from the unseen spiritual realm where God dwells to the physical and seen realm of which earth , the stars, the sun, the planets etc is a part of. Earth been the first place chosen to set an example of what should be in this newly created physical realm is used in reference to the created physical realm.

DeleteWe were created to worship God, and the devil clearly wanted to be like God so he became the father of lies to deceive man so man can worship him. When God created the forbidden tree he did so to establish obedience. So he allowed satan into the kingdom (Earth) for that same reason. What is so interesting is that God did not destroy the devil but banished him and allowed him do his desire. Our God is a good God and ot shows how he still loves his enemies.
